Home & Contents Insurance provides financial security against loss or damage from insured events and legal liability for your home, contents and personal property. Personal property can be insured as either unspecified or specified items. Personal property includes clothing and apparel, jewellery, cameras, sporting equipment (whilst not in use) and portable electronic appliances. Unspecified items usually covers these items for a maximum $1,000 any one item. Should you have any personal property over $1000 for any one item, it is recommended you insure under Specified items and have a photograph and/or a valuation of the item(s).
